Example lunch menu

Lunchtime is an important part of the day for us at Fountains; not only do the children learn social skills, fine motor skills, behavioural skills, self independence and listening skills but they also refuel with either a packed lunch or a school lunch delivered from Fountains school kitchen.

We understand that you need to know they are enjoying their lunches and getting all the energy and goodness they need to power through the afternoon.

Here is an example of three meals from the Autumn term menu. Each term parents complete their choices from a menu. They can choose between the main daily hot option, jacket potato or a sandwich.
Example of meals run over a 3 week rota.

MONDAY - The main hot option is cheesy pasta, broccoli and sweetcorn with garlic bread

Banana mousse, yogurt or fresh fruit

TUESDAY - The main hot option today is chicken burger in a bun, diced potatoes, winter slaw and mixed salad.

Apple crumble and custard or fresh fruit/ yogurt.

WEDNESDAY -Roast chicken and Yorkshire pudding with creamy mash and autumnal veg.

Rice pudding and peaches, fresh fruit or yoghurt.

THURSDAY - Chicken Korma and rice, peas and sweetcorn, Naan bread.

Cheese and biscuits, fresh fruit or yogurt.

FRIDAY - Harry Ramsdens battered fish, peas and sweetcorn.

We encourage healthy packed lunches are provided.
