Dawn Rogers - SENCO.
All children are welcomed into our setting and treat equally. Children with additional needs are worked with and all steps, no matter how small, are celebrated. Children with additional needs are cared for by our dedicated staff and Dawn communicates closely with outside agencies to ensure the childs needs are catered for.
Our named DSL is Katie Barker, the head teacher at Fountains School.
All our staff observe all children closely and if any concern arises they watch, listen and observe. Communication is strong between our parents and any worries is clearly discussed to resolve the matter where appropriate.
The EYFS is the framework our staff work on to ensure all children have access to all areas of learning.
There are 3 prime areas; Personal and social development, communication and language and physical development. We observe each child during the session to ensure there are no missing gaps in their learning.
