OUR TEAM AT FOUNTAINS
Our team of staff are all very experienced and qualified in the Early Years provision.
We feel our staff are our biggest asset; always willing to go above and beyond on a daily basis for the children. They are passionate about supporting the children and helping them develop into happy, confident individuals.

Fountains Playgroup & Pre-School is proud to have a strong and understanding team with low staff turnover. We are all mothers who understand and have experienced the possible anxieties that come with parent/child separation and we will always nurture the children in our care in addition showing empathy for parents/carers.
We are all very passionate about our roles here, going above and beyond; we are inclusive, caring and thrive in making a difference in young children's lives.

Dawn Rogers
Leader of the setting and overall responsibility
Dawn has a BA Hons Degree in Young Children's Learning and Development and qualified in DNN.
Dawn is employed to work in ratio with the children and staff Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday.
Admin Friday morning.
Dawn is responsible for: Day to day running of the setting, Dawn works with the staff team to care and educate the children in the setting, holding close communication with parents and the committee. Dawn is the named nominated person for Ofsted.
Dawn is the group's named SENCo who works closely with children and families of children with additional needs.
A qualified Paediatric First Aider and is qualified to administer a prescribed Epi pen. Dawn has completed training with the team at Harrogate hospital to administer medication for epilepsy.
Completed food hygiene, level 2 and safeguarding basic online training and prevent.
Samantha Dent
Deputy to Dawn
Sam is the named Deputy and works closely with Dawn and the staff team. Sam is employed at Fountains and works Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Sam is qualified Level 3 Playgroup Assistant and a qualified paediatric first aider. Sam is qualified to administer a prescribed Epi pen and has completed training under young epilepsy with knowledge to administer medication.
Sam completed the Safeguarding basics online training and prevention. She has also completed the food hygiene training.

Victoria Ellmore
Playgroup Assistant
Vikki is our Playgroup Assistant at Fountains and works Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
She is a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse and a qualified paediatric first aider and is qualified to administer a prescribed Epi pen.
Vikki has completed training under young epilepsy with knowledge to administer medication. She has completed the Safeguarding basic online training and prevent. Vikki has also completed food hygiene training.

Katherine Tulip
Playgroup Assistant
Kath is our Playgroup Assistant at Fountains and works on a Wednesday.
Kath is a qualified Level 3 Playgroup Assistant and a qualified paediatric first aider and is qualified to administer a prescribed Epi pen. Kath has completed the Safeguarding basic online training and also prevent and food hygiene training.

Judith Kelly
Playgroup Assistant
Judi is our playgroup assistant and works on a Monday.
She is a Level 3 qualified and a qualified paediatric first aider and is qualified to administer a prescribed Epi pen.
Judi has completed the Safeguarding basic online training and has had basic food hygiene training.
​
Our staff attend training run by NYCC North Yorkshire Education Services and Early Years Alliance.
